Electronics & Communication Engineering

Department started functioning from the inception of polytechnic i.e. from 2011. We offer three-year full time diploma course in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 60 students. In addition, the department admits 20% lateral entry students. The department covers important areas such as Microcontroller, Advanced Communication Systems, Very Large Scale Integration, Electronic Devices and Circuits and Electrical Control Systems.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering department as well established modern laboratories to cater to the needs of academic activities and project work. It is also equipped with computational facilities. The department has also class rooms, latest kit and equipment. The department constantly facilitates students from other department of the institute has a gesture of support to their academic activities.

The faculty members in the department are committed, motivated and well equipped to offer the good teaching learning to the students.

Students are encouraged to participate in project work contest, paper presentation contest etc., through this chapter. Guest lectures, Industrial visit etc., are also organized through these professional societies.

The students get hands on training in implementing and simulating the design of circuits such as modulation & demodulation, rectifiers, forward and reverse biasing, transistors, oscillators etc.,
